Her Father took her to an altar he used nearby, it was on a stone clearing, overlooking a chasm. He leads her up to the altar and lifted her up and sat her on it. he then took a knife out of his kimono and pulled it open. Showing his scarred chest. He cut a strange symbol into his chest and Sheik didn't know what it meant. "I want to be their host! tell them, Sheik, demand them to join me! my body is theirs!"

He wanted these demons power. "Father! I can't! they say that my aura has a pull!...they are..they are yelling at me!" The lightning flashed brightly in the sky "No! you have the power to move them from your body! You can do it! it's in the book! but you have to be strong enough! you have to do it! give me the power Sheik!!" Her father grabbed her face, holding her chin as he reached in a large pocket on the front of his haori, He pulled out a small bottle of a black liquid. He flicked the cork off with his thumb and poured it into her mouth, she struggled a bit. "Drink it! this potion will give you strength!!" Something he would often drink himself.

Once the liquid went down her throat she felt her body catch fire, her muscles tighten and her body convulsed, Her father backed away and stood with his arms open by his sides, ready to take the demons on. Sheik screeched loudly as she tried to remember something useful from the book. It said to be strong-willed, extract all fear and focus on anger and command, this is all demons will respond to. She thought about how angry she was to even have this ability, she thought about the demons and spirits that didn't even ask permission to join her. She hated them and she focused that hatred, she looked at her Father, standing in the rain, looking somewhat like a mad man.

She held out her hand towards him, yelling as loud as her voice had ever done. "Leave me!! leave my body, demons!! you are not welcome here and I demand you get the hell away!!! I damn you to this man! give him your power and never return you swine!!" She not only cast the demons away, but she felt her whole aura leave her body, completely switching with her father.

The burden on her heart was lifted as all the grief she was feeling was gone just like that. This must have been an ability of hers, switching auras with whomever she wanted. She was free of them, she felt such relief that she slightly smiled as she fell back onto the altar.
Her father screamed but it turned into a wicked laugh as he carved a symbol into the back of his hand, it was some type of seal. The rain fell on Sheik's face for a few minutes, she thought she had been freed from her ability, and she was so very glad, but she learned how terribly wrong she was when a wave of spirits passed through her once more, like a volt of electricity, her chest shot up as she felt the horrible emotions come back, the feeling in the pit of her stomach that something was wrong just knotted tighter and tighter.

Her father slowly walked towards her, he looked down at his distressed daughter. "Oh Sheik!... there is no way for you to get rid of your power, even if you cast them away, they will always come back, this is your fate! I was able to seal the two demons inside of me, I will use them, but there will be more.. there will always be more, Sheik!" Besides her father, she could also hear screams fading in and out, along with the smeary figures of her spirits. "I will not do these rituals anymore!" The girl screamed. The man's eyebrows lowered. "Do you think you have a choice?" Sheik drove her foot into her unsuspecting father's gut.

He stumbled back holding his stomach and heaving. "You!....witch!" Sheik stood on the altar, one of the spirits were whispering in her ear "Sheik...leave this place... you must leave this man.." the spirit said nervously. "He will end up killing you if you continue this life.. The only thing he cares about is power..." this was something she already knew deep down. Her father was never loving to her, everything he ever told her was to somehow benefit himself, if he did love her, it surely wasn't enough. She looked down at her father with a smirk. "Dear father.. you told me to let greed drive me, and I am, I want nothing more than to be alone, I won't let you have any more of my power!"

Her father grinned back to her "Then go." He turned and walked back, he respected her choice and it's not as if he needed her. Sheik left that night and never looked back. She ran through the rain, a scowl on her face. She fond an abandoned shack and went inside, soaking wet, she collapsed on the floor, worn out from the power she had used to cast the phantoms away. Even though she had found a new strength, she couldn't help from bursting into tears. The sadness she felt wasn't her own, but the thought of it never going away did create despair in herself. They would never leave, she could only find relief for a few minutes, but they would return to her. She was born with this ability, and there was nothing she could do to free herself from it completely.

She tried living in the run down shack, surviving off of berries and water. but inevitably more spirits found her. the feeling she had was already unbearable, now....it was unbelievable. Her mood deteriorated. for three days she didn't eat, only laying on the floor of the shack, listening to the moans of the spirits and feeling their grief but not having any source of the feeling, like depression with no cause.
She thought about suicide many times, but the problem with this was that she didn't know what happened after death.

"What's it like....when you die?" She asked out loud to the dead, her frail voice breaking the silence that had been present for days. She listened to the whispers. "Scary" "confusing" "painful" "cold" and "sorrowful" Were the things she was hearing them say, these were lost spirits, spirits that had something that happened in life holding them here, Sheik didn't understand it, but she felt like she would be in the same situation even in death, she was afraid of the unknown, so she drug on.

As the years passed by, She turned the shack into her home, the spirits would tell her where to find powerful weapons and items, she had quite a collection. But with years came more demons and spirits, there was a great alteration to her personality, to not go insane she turned her mind off for many years, she didn't think about the future or the past, she only concentrated on herself in the moment, the abhorrent feelings never left, but she learned to live with them. Many years passed, and by the time she was nearing thirty years old, she was more or less dead to it, but she was now a very malicious woman, with demons and wicked spirits as her only influences.

One day, as Sheik was walking into a cave, a cave one of her demons told her about. She saw a bald man sitting in the dark corner, he had a few candles lit, books laying around and writings all over the floor. Many symbols and demonic ritual ingredients. She stepped further into the cave, carrying a long chain with a crystal ball at the end of it. a reddish color. One of her powered weapons. She approached a stone made a circle on the floor that was filled with demonically powered items. As she scanned over them the man in the corner shouted frantically "Get out of here, witch! these are my things!" Sheik ignored the man and picked up a small mirror from the circle. "I said get out of here!!"

The angered man got up and hobbled towards Sheik, he was quite a skinny man who only wore a robe around his waist. he held a dagger in his hand. Sheik slowly turned her head towards him, not wearing an expression. She lifted her arm with the weapon and whipped it towards the man when the crystal part made contact with him, his eyes rolled back and his body went stiff, the life was drained from his body as his soul was sucked into the crystal. Sheik looked back down at the items and picked a few things up. Aware of the demon of hell in the dark corner where the man had been sitting. Only bright green eyes visible from the shadows.

Sheik walked out of the cave, dragging the trapped soul of the man and mindful that the demon spirit was following her. She made her way back to her home and set her items on her table. She saw from the corner of her eye, the demon come into her home, waiting for it to join her like they always did, but she was surprised for the first time in a long time when she felt this demonic spirit. it was stronger than any of her other spirits, she could feel where it was moving in her aura and she heard it's raspy laughter. Soon, it began speaking to her. "Viton" was the repeating name she would hear it speak. "Go find him, join him, He is in the valley near Aka Tsuki castle" Sheik usually listened to the spirits, she had nothing else to do with her time anyhow, She followed the instructions the demon spirit gave her.

When she got to the bottom of the valley, it was late in the afternoon, the sun almost set. she saw three people there. They were armed demons, She approached them holding a weapon, a long spike whip infused with poison, the weapon was powerful and she knew how to fight well, anyone cut with this whip would allow the poison to enter the wound, causing a fire burn to the area, lasting up to almost three minutes before dissipating. "Which one of you are Viton?" She asked in a careless and straight face. She stood their confident, waiting for an answer. A man with black hair hanging down one side of his face, stepped forward "I am Viton" He squinted his eyes and smiled "You've heard of me? I'm surprised" He said with a cocky tone.

"You made a pact with a demon spirit.. it told me to find you." She said, her face never changing but Viton's eyebrows rose. "Oh? and why would it do that?" He questioned. "Because I am a spirit being." Not entirely sure what that meant but Viton didn't really care, it was no doubt this woman could talk to spirits. "Now why would this demon tell me to come to you?" Sheik asked Viton and he replied with the only reason he could think of. "Well my guess would be.... so that you could join my team, I am recruiting demons to follow me, strong ones.. who will do what I tell them." Sheik cocked her head to the side, now intrigued. "And what type of things would you have me do?"

Viton spoke slowly as an evil grin grew wider and wider. "Steal.....Deceive.....Harm......Murder."
Sheik could care less about doing any of those things, it was nothing she hadn't done already, but if someone needed her it would be much better to have some kind of purpose on this earth. "Alright Viton, be my Master. My name is Sheik." Vina and Niz watched as Viton lifted his hand, Sheik saw the markings on his hand, she knew where he got this power. "Put your fingertips to mine." She didn't know what would happen exactly, thinking maybe this was some kind of mind control, she asked. "Tell me what this power will do. Will it leave me no free will?" Viton shook his head.

"It will only enhance the evil in your soul." Sheik stared at his palm and then she lifted her hand, rolling back the long sleeve that covered her hand, She figured there wasn't much for the power to enhance, but it was worth a shot. She pressed her fingertips to his and as the power moved into her body, she felt the want to murder grow.

Her spirits went crazy, they all began yelling and screaming at the sudden change in their exhibit. The demonic souls were laughing menacingly and encouraging it. The markings moved through Sheik's arm and down the right side of her torso. settling from her breast to the bottom of her hip. Sheik's blank expression cracked a small smile. "Give me an assignment."

Sheik is evil through and through, she literally cares about no one, the only emotions she uses are anger, spite and neutral. Sometimes her spirits find refuge from some event and are able to leave her side, but a new one fills its place, she currently carries around twenty spirits and that is about the limit they are able to fit in her aura. She likes a challenge so she does her best in all her master's assignments. She is suspected to be the strongest and wisest person on Viton's warped team, this isn't confirmed, but she is quite a forbidding opponent and often Viton's first choice.
So how did you like it? XD yeah, I made up the spirit being thing, but it sounds like there is probably a real thing that is similar to that.
I know there wasn't as many detailed moments here. but with how her life went. that's just how it was, nothing too drawn out, just a slow decent into numbness.

I don't know why i would make up that they make her feel so awful...that just sucks man..

Wont Lie.  Sheik seems to be almost as Emotionless as one of my OCS but in a different way.  Cant say I am surprised about her becoming the way she did after how her father treated her and how demons influenced her.

Definitely a pretty awesome and intriguing character
